Local attorneys with combined 180 years of legal experience join forces.

Corpus Christi, TX – When the timing is right and the landscape is positive, then you have to make the move. So say Todd Hunter, Ed Barker and Rick Fancher who have merged their law practices to create Hunter Barker Fancher.

As of January 1, the three named partners and an additional three attorneys and their support staff have moved into renovated offices on the 12th floor of Tower II and are ready for business.

The new firm with a breadth and depth of experience will focus on civil and commercial defense work although their combined expertise covers a wide range of legal issues, says Fancher, managing partner for the new firm. “Ed, Todd and I have known each other and worked on cases together for over 20 years. We have a similar philosophy of the law and approach to our work which makes this transition very smooth.”

Part of their expertise is having a wide range of legal experience coupled with a deep knowledge of the judicial system in South Texas adds Barker, an experienced litigator. “The bottom line is we help our clients solve problems.”

“We are excited about where Corpus Christi is heading and the opportunities that are changing the focus of business in this area,” said Hunter.

Attorneys Floyd Brown, Rod Handel and David Neblett round out the professional team.
